The "Mindfulness Yoga" book provides a nice blend of Buddhist and Hindu yoga ideas- for which there is considerable overlap on the ethics side. If one is impressed by the role of metaphor in our "thinking" then "Philosophy in the Flesh" will keep you thinking deeply.
